Located about 35 miles north of Lubbock on Hwy. 84, Littlefield is the county seat for Lamb county, TX. Our little city is in the midst of a regrowth.
Some of the businesses you can find in Littlefield’s downtown area are:
Grandma’s Coffee House & Bookstore at 302 Phelps. Come in, have some of the special coffees offered. Also available is a nice variety of breakfast rolls & treats. Grandma’s offers internet access, so you can get some work done while you have your coffee. This would be a great place for business meetings that need internet access. Nice homey atmosphere. There is an extensive collection of books, new and old to browse through.
Blueberry Hill Antiques, Collectables & Gift Mall, 407 Phelps Ave. (located where WEAR’S used to be & the sign is still there). Lots of antiques & other gift items. Lana leases space to other vendors, so there is a nice variety of goods for every taste.
Speaking of taste: Try lunch at Texas Chili Parlor, located inside Blueberry Hill Antiques. I hear the Friday lunch special is the best Chicken Fried Steak dinner around!
Patrick’s Mercantile, next to Blueberry Hill Antiques has beautiful gift items... crosses, home decor & more!
Janie has the Fashion “R” at 410 Phelps Ave., which is next to Campbell’s. Here you will find fashions and accessories for ladies. So, when you are done here, come on over for a cup of coffee and say hello!
J-Bar-N Boots at 310 Phelps Ave has a full range of Western Wear.
White Kitchen serves a variety of food on the menu. They open at 6:30 a.m. if you want breakfast first, come on down. They are located at 425 Phelps Ave.
Price’s Home and Auto has lots of new furniture, appliances, and also carry auto supplies (cleaners, floor mats, etc.).
Littlefield has a new college extension at 303 Phelps Ave, near the Senior Center. Classes will start in January (includes online classes).
Rodriguez’ Mexican Restaurant has lunch and dinner available... good eats!
Need some hardware for those gifts that came without? Try Nifty Hardware at 620 E. 3rd, near Higinbotham’s.
Jennings Insurance can help with those tough insurance problems.
Jan McCray is with State Farm Insurance, located at 324 Phelps Ave.
There is also Visions, a very nice furniture/Appliance store, they are near to Rodriguez’.
Many more shops (2nd hand, barber shop, etc.) located in the downtown area. Since we aren’t that large, it’s a nice little walk to check us all.
There is also a Hospice, Radio Station, and don’t forget the library!
NOTE: I will add more stores and links to any online as I get them.
