All quilts take time to create and the quilting needs to enhance the effort that has gone into the quilt.
My goal is to highlight your piecework with machine quilting to bring out the beauty of your work.

I will care for your quilt as if it were my own. Each quilt is handled separately in a  smoke-free environment.
Please call 806-523-8061 to arrange a free consultation in my shop, or at another agreed to location to discuss the needs of your quilt.

Samples of my work will be shown when we meet to discuss your quilt.

Should you not be able to meet with me personally, you may use the provided Estimate / Quote request, by clicking the link to the left (Application).

It is hard to quote an exact price without seeing your quilt and first discussing with you the needs of your quilt - which, in addition to the actual
quilting,  may include batting, backing, binding and thread choices - and only after taking these choices into consideration will I be able to give
you a final, fixed price for your quilt. In general, many quilts fall into the following price ranges & TX state taxes will be added to the final amount:

   Aprox.                Price Range
Quilt Size             Quilting Only

Lap Quilt (54 x 54")   $35 - $45

Twin (66 x 86")         $65 - $100

Full (72 x 90")           $75 - $145

Queen (87 x 92")       $95 - $200

King (114 x 114")    $150 - $300

The above prices are for Pantogram (continues all over design repeat) and basic meandering only. I have many designs to choose from, and I am
positive you will find a design that complements your quilt perfectly.

NOTE: For more accurate estimate, check the application link to the left, which will give you the formula to determine your costs.

Is it still “Your work” if someone else does the quilting for you? Think of it like this. If you have your house painted by a professional, is it still
YOUR house?  Of course it is.  You are just contracting out the finish work...so you can go on to create yet another project.

Do you have great grandma’s quilt in a drawer? Even if it’s hand sewn, having it machine quilted will preserve it’s beauty and allow you to share
that beauty with others, proudly displayed on a wall, bed, or even just folded over a quilt rack or sofa back.

The greatest honor you can show to that ancestor, is to finish what they didn’t have time to...and display it with love and respect.

The above quilt was purchased at auction.  It contains no batting, and is considered by some to be a “Summer Quilt.” Do you have quilt tops like this that are not being utilized? I can quilt these and make them into displayed treasures!

I also finish UFO’s (UnFinished Objects), and also can construct new tops in any desired patterns.

T-shirts can be made into wonderful memory quilts. Don’t leave them hanging in closets, stuffed into drawers, etc., combine them into a wonderful pictorial memory quilt.

Have family shirts, or other clothing in good condition. Turn them into memory quilts.  Contact Marge for more information!

For example, the quilt below was made as an impromptu gift for a lady who finally found where her paternal Grandmother was supposed to be buried.  I presented this to her at a memorial service for patients who died and were buried by a state hospital in California.

Mattie McKenna Myers was a young woman with three small children to raise.  She died in 1906 in Stockton, CA.  Mattie had cancer.  She was committed to a State Insane Asylum, probably by the state, as she was unable to care for her children. Mattie died alone and most likely afraid and in pain.  She is buried in an unmarked grave in one of three locations in Stockton, CA.

This small memorial quilt was made in her honor. It shows Mattie’s husband, Mattie, her sisters and her children.    NOTE: that’s other samples behind the quilt, not a frayed edge!

This photo memorial quilt is hand washable.  It was done quickly on my domestic sewing machine several years ago.

Mattie’s granddaughter still fights to find Mattie’s final resting place today.

What better way to remember a loved one, than with a memorial quilt?

Using the loved ones clothing is another way to memorialize them.
